FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for contact connection of lightning protection and grounding elements to each other. Device for connecting flexible graphite grounding conductors consists of U-shaped element with side walls, wherein every side wall has holes for pins, pins connecting side walls, shaped wedges with recesses and pressure plate with U-shaped surface. Electrical and mechanical contact between two connected conductors, laid on each other inside the U-shaped element, is provided by pressing on the opposite side by the pressure plate with the U-shaped surface by wedging with the shaped wedges having recesses, radius of which corresponds to radius of pins, under which these wedges are hammered from two opposite sides of U-shaped element in direction of movement of wedge.
EFFECT: simplicity of design with provision of reliable electric contact and mechanical connection, resistance to aggressive effect of external environment, absence of necessity to use special tools for connection, provision of possibility of conductors movement relative to each other for compensation of ground shifts.
