FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for protection of various purpose objects against direct thunderbolts. Device comprises lightning rod and earth lead. Lightning rod comprises metal mast and rod lightning collector. Besides metal mast is arranged in the form of conic structure with section radius that reduces from its base to top. Metal mast is installed inside shielding made of thin metal conductor set arranged with equal pitch. Radius of circumference, along which conductors are arranged, grows from shielding base to its top. Upper ends of conductors are fixed in upper part of metal mast by means of flanged joint. Flanged joint is installed inside mountaneous electrostatic crane. Rod lightning collector is rigidly fixed in the centre of metal mast, and metal mast is rigidly fixed on foundation. Lower part of metal mast is installed in reservoir with water. Earth lead is arranged in the form of multibeam structure communicated with water reservoir and made of pipes with drain holes, which make it possible to arrange sprinkling watering of soil.

EFFECT: elimination of sparking in area of combustible and explosive gaseous exhausts with simultaneous reduction of wind loads at structure.
