SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing Pb-212 and Ac-225 isotopes. Method of producing Pb-212 and Ac-225 isotopes involves irradiating a target containing Ra-226 with charged particles and/or photons to obtain at least Ac-225 isotopes and Ac-224 isotopes. Method further includes application of chromatography to separate anemones from the remaining fraction containing radium after the cooling time has elapsed. After the first additional waiting time, extraction chromatography is used using resin having 18-crown-6-ether or equivalent of 18-crown-6-ether as an extractant in HNO3 and/or HCI, to separate Pb from the remaining fraction containing radium.
EFFECT: high efficiency of using the target material for producing Pb-212 and Ac-225 isotopes with high isotopic purity of the product.
