SUBSTANCE: neutron capture therapy system comprises a neutron generation apparatus and a beam-forming unit, wherein the neutron generation apparatus comprises an accelerator and a target; the beam of charged particles, generated when the accelerator accelerates, interacts with the target in order to generate neutrons, the neutrons form a neutron beam, and the neutron beam defines the main axis; the beam-forming unit comprises a decelerator, a reflector, and a radiation screen; the beam-forming unit additionally comprises a frame accommodating the decelerator.

EFFECT: prevented strain on and damage to the material of the beam-forming unit leading to the improved flow and quality of the neutron source.
