FIELD: environmental protection; various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection against contamination with toxic substances — from spent ethylene glycol or propylene glycol-containing aviation anti-icing fluids and anti-icing reagents. Complex plant comprises accumulation tank for collection of initial effluent, cleaned from suspended particles, installed in series first and second stages of deep cleaning and post-treatment stage. First cleaning stage comprises series-installed anodic oxidation unit, reactor for complete chemical oxidation of ethylene glycol, flotator, balancing tank of air dissolution system. Second stage contains in-series installed unit of anodic oxidation, reactor for complete chemical oxidation of ethylene glycol, flotator, balancing tank of air dissolution system. Post-treatment stage comprises a mechanical filter, a storage tank, an ultrafiltration unit, sorption filters and an ion-exchange filter. Each reactor for complete chemical oxidation of ethylene glycol is a container with a nozzle made of ceramic material with a branched surface with a mixing pump installed in front of the nozzle. Height of the nozzle of the first stage reactor is 1–1.5 m. Second stage reactor nozzle height makes 1.5–2 m. Each said reactor is additionally connected to a sediment collection tank, the outlets of which are interconnected with a filter press for squeezing sediments with preliminary reagent treatment. Effluent to be cleaned enters the anodic oxidation unit of the first deep cleaning stage from the accumulating tank.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of wastewater treatment from anti-icing fluids and anti-icing reagents, simplifying plant.
