FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, in particular to test benches for testing materials. Test bench for sound-absorbing and vibration-insulating coating materials thin-wall shells characterized by the fact that it contains coaxially and successively installed on the bed a railway transport acoustic noise generator (ANG), specimen fixing device (SFD) of structural materials and material vibration meter (MVM), at that, the ANG control input is equipped with a bus for cable connection to the control output of the test control unit (TCU) and contains series-connected railway transport noise spectrum setter (NSS), broadband electric signals amplifier (BSA) and acoustic wave emitter, and the MVM has a series-connected vibration sensor, a vibration signal into a digital signal converter and an output digital port for cable connection to signal input of test control unit (TCU).
EFFECT: possibility of rapid measurement of amplitude-frequency characteristics (AFC) of sound-absorbing and vibration-insulating materials for coating thin-walled shells of passenger car bodies.
