FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying of loose materials and can be used for cooling grain after drying process. Bulk material cooler comprises a cooling chamber formed by an inner surface of a cylindrical housing with a cover and its bottom part, having the shape of an inverted truncated cone, an air manifold with a lattice surface, loading window and discharge window of cylindrical shape with unloading mechanism, coolant flow outlet window. In the cooling chamber with a gap relative to the inner surface of the housing, its bottom part and the cover, there is an additional hollow cylinder with a lattice surface in the form of flake-type holes and sensors of minimum and maximum load. Cooler unloading mechanism is made in the form of two arc-shaped scrapers installed on vertical shaft. Coolant flow outlet window is located above the installation level of the hollow cylinder with a lattice surface.
EFFECT: invention provides faster cooling of loose material with simultaneous automatic removal of contamination from the cooling chamber.
