FIELD: images encoding means.
SUBSTANCE: dedicated buffer is initialized for reference to a copy of the intraframe prediction block, IBC, when the current coding tree block, CTU, to be decoded is the first CTU in the CTU line. It is determined whether the current block in the current CTU is predicted using the IBC mode. An IBC block vector for the current block is obtained when the current block is predicted using the IBC mode. Predicted values of samples for the current block are obtained, based on the reference links obtained from the allocated buffer, and on the vector of the IBC block for the current block, in which reference samples obtained from the allocated buffer are initiated to a default value. Encoded video bitstream is parsed to obtain quantised coefficients. Inverse quantisation and inverse transformation are applied to quantised coefficients to obtain a reconstructed residual block.
EFFECT: high efficiency of encoding images.
