SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measurement and monitoring of amplitude and frequency-time characteristics of respiration. Method for recording patient’s breath in an artificial magnetic field consists in recording the chest movement caused by the patient’s respiratory activity, in the presence of an artificial magnetic field generated by a magnetic field source with known characteristics and rigidly fixed relative to the patient, by measuring the magnetic induction vector modulus, using a magnetic field sensor fixed on the surface of the patient's chest, with subsequent calculation of the difference of the base value of the magnetic induction vector module, fixed during the patient's breath holding, and the magnetic induction vector module measured by the magnetic field sensor when the patient is breathing.

EFFECT: non-invasive recording of patient’s breath in the presence of an artificial magnetic field, including during a magnetic therapy procedure.
