FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiovascular surgery. Extremity revascularization is performed; after the operation is completed, the control direct angiography of the extremity arteries is performed, and the obtained revascularization result is assessed: 1 point—complete absence of blood flow in the target artery and distal reperfusion; 2 points—partial restoration of blood flow in the target artery with presence of visual occlusion in it and absence of distal reperfusion; 3—complete restoration of blood flow in target artery—propulsive blood flow, with visual occlusion of distal branches and absence of reperfusion; 4 points—complete antegrade blood flow recovery in the target artery with distal reperfusion, but with reduced blood flow rate along the whole length—slow-reflow phenomenon; 5 points—complete antegrade blood flow recovery in the target artery with distal reperfusion with optimal blood flow rate, if observing 4 or 5 points, the blood flow recovery is considered to be effective, and if observing less than 4 points, the blood flow recovery is considered to be ineffective.

EFFECT: method enables assessing the effectiveness of revascularization in the upper and lower extremities in the patients with acute ischemia and forming a prognosis for the preservation of the extremity from amputation.
