FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abdominal surgery. Based on clinical and laboratory studies, the degree of prevalence of peritonitis, the nature of the exudate, the state of the colon are determined, severity of endogenous intoxication, number of surgeries at previous stages, degree of hemorrhagic shock, score on military field surgery gunshot injury scale VPH-P(OR). Above parameters are scored. Derived points are summed up, and the indications for VAC-laparostomy and further surgical approach are determined.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to quickly assess the probability of peritonitis progression in the patients with gunshot injury of the abdomen, to correct the surgical approach in a timely manner, including implementation of pathophysiologically grounded approach to VAC-laparostomy, allows to improve results of surgical treatment of patients with gunshot wounds of abdomen by reducing the incidence of such life-threatening complications as abdominal sepsis and septic shock.
