FIELD: musical instruments.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stringed plucked musical instruments, having a flat body, on top of which there are stretched from 15 to 45 strings, some of which have a different tuning than the main strings. Zither contains a deck with a set of strings installed between a string holder and tuning pegs, and support legs, wherein it is equipped with an additional set of strings installed between an additional string holder and additional tuning pegs, deck has the shape of a corrugated plate with openings in the form of through holes in upper bends of corrugations, strings of both sets are placed in corrugations on both sides of the corrugated plate, wherein support legs are installed on both sides of the deck.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of placing two independent sets of strings with different settings on one deck and possibility of simultaneous playing on two independent sets of strings placed on both sides of the deck.
