FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of isolating uncultivated forms of Streptococcus pneumoniae, characterized by the fact that strains of non-cultivated forms of Streptococcus pneumoniae are inoculated in a test tube with 5.0 ml of Mueller-Hinton broth with addition of 20% defibrinated mutton blood, the contents of the test tubes are mixed with a vortex shaker for 30 s, after which the obtained mixture is incubated at a temperature of +37 °C for 24 hours, as a result of which the obtained daily culture in test tubes is repeatedly mixed with a vortex shaker, 100 mcl of the content of the test tubes are taken for inoculation with a depleting stroke on 5% blood agar, then re-incubated at +37 °C and under conditions of 7% concentration of carbon dioxide until visible colonies appear.
EFFECT: invention provides recovery of growth properties of non-cultivated forms of Streptococcus pneumonia and their recovery.
