FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: bushing of the pivot assembly is made of a composite polymer antifriction material containing carbon fibre or a mixture of carbon fibre with glass fibre as a fibrous filler, as well as randomly arranged carbon nanotubes in the form of single-layer or multi-layer with the number of layers from 2 to 70, or nested graphite planes rolled into a tube. Outer diameter of carbon nanotubes is selected from 0.1 to 100 nm, and their length is from 1 to 70 mcm. Content of glass fibre in its mixture with carbon fibre of the fibrous filler of the composite polymer antifriction material is selected from 3.48 to 10.5 wt.%, as base thermoplastic composite polymer antifriction material contains polyamide 6, or polyamide 6,6 – polyhexamethylene adipamide, or polyamide 12 – polydodecaamide with the following quantitative content of components, wt.%: carbon fibre or mixture of carbon fibre with glass fibre – 8.2-43.8; carbon nanotubes – 0.02-2.0; thermoplastic – the rest up to 100%.
EFFECT: increasing the service life of the pivot assembly.
