SUBSTANCE: invention relates to throwing devices, in particular to disperse wads for cartridges of smooth-bore guns of low accuracy, and can be used for dispersal of birds near the airport. Throwing device comprises a body in the form of a cylinder, in which there is a shot, a charge, a wad with an obturator. Wad with obturator is made in the form of left wad with obturator located to the left of the shot from the charge side. Device is equipped with a right wad with an obturator, a middle wad with a given profile, left and right felt wads. Charge in the body contacts the left felt wad, which contacts the left wad with an obturator in contact with the middle wad with a given profile, which contacts with the shot, the shot contacts the right wad with the obturator in contact with the felt wad. Profile of the middle wad is made in the form of a cone or a segment and is directed by the shaped surface towards the shot with the possibility of formation of the shot expansion direction and the shot scattering angle after its exit from the body.

EFFECT: increased angle of scattering and uniformity of shot dispersion, which increases reliability of hitting the target.
