FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pulmonology, and can be used to study synchronism of the cardiorespiratory system. Respiratory muscles electric myosignal x(t) and cardiosignal y(t) are recorded in parallel at aperture of 60…120 seconds. Discrete windowed Fourier transforms are determined in N-m1 windows of these signals, where N is the number of discrete readings on the signal observation aperture, m1 is the number of readings in the window. Amplitude spectra Xi and Yi are discriminated by frequency by removing from spectra of readings of frequencies which lie below or above the frequency band occupied by the respiratory rhythm. Over the selected frequency samples of the windowed Fourier transform, amplitude discrimination is carried out, which consists in the fact that the spectral coefficients, the value of which is below a given threshold, are zeroed, and then for each pair of readings of the windowed Fourier transform with number n, the cardiorespiratory synchronism values are determined using the disclosed formula.
EFFECT: method enables assessing the functional state of the respiratory system by examining the synchronism of the cardiorespiratory system.
