FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely therapeutic dentistry, and can be used to prevent complications in the treatment of root canals of teeth. The treatment is completed by filling the root canals using a siler based on epoxy resins in combination with gutta-percha. In this case, the siler is applied with an epoxy resin-based siler application tool, for which a plastic rod is placed in the prepared siler and 2/3 of the tool surface is coated with siler. Then the tool is penetrated into the root canal and directed towards the tip of the tooth root, without bringing it to a working length of 1-2 mm for 10 seconds. Next, the root canal is sealed using a gutta-percha pin using cold and/or hot gutta-percha methods, while the size of the tool for inserting the siler into the root canal should correspond to the size of the tool with which the doctor finished the root canal treatment.
EFFECT: method provides the prevention of complications in the treatment of root canals of teeth by preventing excessive application of epoxy resin-based siler when filling the root canal with hot or cold gutta-percha.
