SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to arrhythmology. Cardiac chambers are approached to construct anatomical maps of the right and left atrium. Radiofrequency ablation is performed using an irrigated catheter, exposure power is 35 W, duration of each exposure is 40-60 s. At the first stage, exposure is applied in the area around the coronary sinus orifice; at that, a semilunar injury is formed along the posterior inferior segment of the coronary sinus orifice. Further, the following ablation is applied in the left atrium after the transseptal puncture. At the second stage, the exposure is performed along the interatrial sulcus from the left atrium, in the area adjacent to the lower semi-perimeter of the antral part of the right lower pulmonary vein. At the last stage, exposures are performed in the area of left pulmonary veins, that part thereof, which is located on the border of the upper left pulmonary vein and the base of the left atrial appendage.

EFFECT: method enables reducing intraoperative, postoperative risks of infectious complications, developing arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, risks of perforation, obturation of the lumen of the superior vena cava, the amount of radiation exposure, as well as reducing the length of postoperative treatment.
