SUBSTANCE: described is a composition for preparing a beverage containing a mixture of powder ingredients: instant coffee, a non-protein whitener and a vegetable-based powder selected from one or more: oat powder, coconut powder, soya powder and almond powder, wherein the weight ratio of the non-protein whitener powder to the vegetable-based powder ranges from 3:1 to 8:1, wherein the ingredients additionally include sugar; and wherein the plant-based powder is substantially the only protein source. Also described is a method for preparing such a composition by mixing all powder ingredients and a method for preparing a beverage, which includes mixing the composition with the beverage medium.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a beverage prepared from such a composition without undesirable sedimentation.
