FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a powdered composition for preparing a beverage. Disclosed composition contains up to 5 wt.% of calcium carbonate and up to 3 wt.% of pea fibers. Also disclosed is the use of a mixture of calcium carbonate and pea fibers as an anti-caking agent for a soluble beverage powder, use of a mixture of calcium carbonate and pea fibers as a mixture for controlling caking of powder in powder of soluble beverage, method of controlling caking of powder in powder of instant beverage, use of said powdered composition for beverage preparation as a beverage composition in a beverage preparation device, as well as a package containing said powdered beverage composition.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at prevention of caking of powdered composition for beverage preparation.
