FIELD: rail vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of renewal and cleaning of track ballast layer. In the method and device implementing this method, the entire cut-out top layer of ballast is sent to a screen, in which it is divided into fractions, the coarse fraction from the screen is directed to a crushing machine, the rest of the crushed stone is divided into two flows: one part is sent to the crushing machine, and the other part is sent to the crushing machine, the other part is transferred to conveyor system of cleaned crushed stone. At that, after leaving the screen, the contaminant is enriched with a fraction of crushed stone from the crushing machine, and then this mixture is transferred through a conveyor system to the mixer. At that, two-stage mixing of materials of contaminant and crushed stone is performed, first materials are mixed in layers on conveyor belt, and then they are transferred to mixer, where repeated mixing to increase homogeneity of composition and moistening of mixture material are performed.

EFFECT: expansion of the functional capabilities of the recycling section.
