FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a paste-making granulator. Result is achieved by paste-making granulator, which includes housing and coaxially located in it screw with shaft, on end part of which there is a grinding device in the form of active – feather and passive – lattice knives installed on end part of shaft, made with possibility of operation in paste formation mode. At that, for operation in granulation mode, on grinding device a grinding-pressing unit is additionally installed, which body is a circular matrix, inside which, coaxially with it, there is a rotor in the form of two semi-cams turned differently relative to each other, the end face of which on the side of the grating knife is made in the form of cutting blades. At that, the paste-making granulator is made with the possibility of changing the operating modes by installation or removal of the regrinding-pressing unit.

EFFECT: lower power consumption of the device as compared to the prototype by factor of 1.81 and metal consumption by factor of 1.85.
