FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that image of car number is projected on railway station platform floor during train stop by means of LED projectors arranged on car body above entrance/exit zone or above window opening in the middle of the car. Two slides with car numbers corresponding to its position in the train relative to the direction of movement are installed in the projectors. Switching of slides and switching on of projectors on the sides of the car relative to the position of the platform, on the left or on the right, is carried out by signals of the video surveillance system and warning passengers through the control board and power supply of the projectors via the Ethernet communication line.

EFFECT: elimination of difficulties with determination of car number by passengers.
