SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing substituted acrylate compounds of general formula (I), involving reaction of a compound of general formula (II) with a compound of general formula (III) in the presence of a base, where ring A is phenyl; X is S; R1 is selected from H and C1-6 alkyl; R2 is selected from H and C1-6 alkyl; R3 is selected from H, C1-6 alkyl, -C0-6 alkylene-C3-7 cycloalkyl, -C0-6 alkylene-phenyl; R4 is selected from C1-6 alkyl and phenyl, where said groups are unsubstituted or independently substituted with m' groups R''; R is selected from H, halogen, -OC1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkyl and C1-6 haloalkyl; n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; where R'' is selected from halogen, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 haloalkyl and -OC1-6 alkyl; m' is equal to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
EFFECT: obtaining substituted acrylate compounds of general formula (I) using an economically feasible, safe and efficient method in which metal-containing catalysts are not used.
