SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound of formula (I-a), where
represents a single bond, R1 represents hydrogen, unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl or either substituted or unsubstituted 5–6 membered heteroaryl containing 1–2 heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, R3a represents hydrogen, unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl or C1-6 alkyl substituted with C1-6 alkoxy, R5 is hydrogen, R6a and R6b are each hydrogen, R12a and R12b are each hydrogen, R16a and R16b are each is hydrogen, R19 is unsubstituted C3-C6 carbocyclyl and n is either 0, 1 or 2. Also a pharmaceutical composition and a method for treating a disorder associated with the CNS are provided.
EFFECT: proposed compounds are GABA receptor modulators and may be useful as therapeutic agents for the treatment of a CNS-related disorder.
