SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in assessing the risk of postoperative arrhythmia in abdominal operations. In the preoperative period, the presence of a heart rhythm disturbance in the anamnesis is determined, the duration of arbitrary threshold apnea in seconds by conducting a breath-holding test on inspiration, hemoglobin level in g/l, age, operative injuries, need for vasopressors is detected intraoperatively. Based on the obtained data, the risk of developing postoperative arrhythmia (K) is determined by a given formula, and if K is more than −4.52, the patient is referred to a group of high risk of developing postoperative arrhythmia, if the value K is equal to −4.52 and less—to the low-risk group.

EFFECT: method enables timely detection of patients with high risk of postoperative arrhythmias after abdominal surgeries and to optimize the perioperative period in these patients by assessing the set of the most significant values.
