FIELD: robotics; vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a support assembly for a wheel, a robotic vehicle and a method for overcoming obstacles. Robotic vehicle comprises a support assembly for a wheel, a chassis, a body, a wheel. Support assembly includes a first lever part and a second lever part. First part of the lever is configured to be attached to the chassis at the attachment point and protrudes forward and downward to the ground surface relative to the attachment point in the current direction of movement of the robotic vehicle. Second part of the lever is pivotally connected to the first part of the lever at the lever pivot point. Second part of the lever is pushed forward relative to the point of rotation of the lever in the current direction of movement of the robotic vehicle. Wheel is installed with possibility of rotation on the end of the second part of the lever, on the opposite side from the point of rotation of the lever. Wheel is able to rotate around axis of rotation, located at the same height with the pivot point of the lever relative to the surface, on which the robotic vehicle is located.
EFFECT: enabling robotic vehicle to overcome obstacles.
