FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to robotic vehicles, in particular to mechanisms for controlling their covers. Robotic vehicle comprises a housing defining an inner space, a controlled cover to provide access to the inner space, power supply and processor. Processor controls the operation of the cover and provides the supply from the power source to the motor of a first electric current having a first value for applying a first force to the cover, when the cover is between an open position and a first intermediate position set between an open position and a closed position, supply from power supply source to motor of second electric current, having second value, for application of second force to cover, and the third electric current supplying from the power source to the motor, having the third value.
EFFECT: enabling unobstructed movement of the cover of a robotic vehicle and its uninterrupted operation.
