FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer floor elements and floor coating containing said polymer floor elements. Polymer floor element comprises an upper layer lying on a base formed from a polymer, wherein the floor element has a rectangular or square surface with a longest side length of less than 3.0 m and more than 0.4 m, wherein the upper layer comprises a decorative layer and a wear layer provided on said decorative layer and having thickness of 0.2 mm to 0.55 mm, decorative layer has a printed pattern with a pattern which is specific at each point along the length of the floor element in question and forms an image of one separate wooden board on the entire surface of the floor element, the floor element has a thickness in range of 1 mm and 8 mm and a weight per unit area in range of 1500 g/m² and 3000 g/m².

EFFECT: invention provides a floor covering, which is more flexible, lends itself to laying and provides the possibility of quick replacement of floor elements, which form parts with a larger area.
