PROCESS LINE FOR PROCESSING SULPHATE VANADIUM-CONTAINING WASTE WATER Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC C02F1/62 C02F1/469 B01D61/42 B01D61/58

Abstract RU 2830777 C1

FIELD: chemistry; metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and chemical technology of inorganic substances, in particular to process lines for complex purification of sulphate vanadium-containing waste water and recovery of sulphuric acid and alkali and can be used in production of vanadium. Line for processing sulphate vanadium-containing waste water includes an electrodialyzer with bipolar membranes, the first output of which is connected to the interconnected precipitation reactor, filter press, mechanical filter communicated via line of discharge of clarified sodium sulphate solution with inlet of electrodialyzer. Second output of the electrodialyzer is interconnected with a line for withdrawal of sulphuric acid, which is directed into the process for leaching vanadium compounds. Third outlet of the electrodialyzer is connected to the reverse osmosis unit, the first outlet of which is connected to the discharge line of the clarified sodium sulphate solution, and the second outlet is connected to the line of permeate discharge into the process for preparing process solutions.

EFFECT: possibility of recuperation of sulphuric acid and alkali with possibility of reuse of residual liquid of vanadium precipitation, which reduces level of waste water formation and consumption of reagents.
