SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of basic training of high-speed shooting from a rapid-fire pistol as a basis for further training in shooting from any types of firearms and can be used in the Practice Shooting Federation of Russia, training of military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defence, athletes, law enforcement and security companies. Method of basic training of high-speed shooting is carried out by performing special training before each lesson as follows: muscles, ligaments and tendons are stretched, breathing exercises are performed, a set of throws is performed with a tennis ball, after which one proceeds with working with arms. Set of targets is arranged in advance to test rate of fire when firing in series; mastering the maximum rate of fire is performed based on the capabilities of the pistol when firing in series; mastering maximum speeds when shooting offhand and guiding between targets when shooting in series; performing aiming at stationary target; performing shooting in series with aiming without loss of speed on groups of targets; wherein at the last stage of basic training, as preparation for the next stages, a change and a variety of exercises and weapons are carried out.

EFFECT: increasing the speed of shots, further increasing motor reactions when achieving results, followed by working out the accuracy of hitting the target when shooting at fixed targets.
