SUBSTANCE: biostimulant for treating plants and/or plant seed material contains a protein hydrolyzate component and a betaine component, wherein the protein hydrolyzate component and the betaine component are in the biostimulant in a weight ratio of 3:1 to 1:10. Method of treating plants and/or seed material of plants with said biostimulant. Use of a composition with a protein hydrolyzate component and a betaine component, where the protein hydrolyzate component and the betaine component are contained in the composition in a weight ratio of 3:1 to 1:10, as a biostimulant for treating a plant and/or plant seed material.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to create a biostimulant with reduced toxicity.
