FIELD: ventilation; air conditioning.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to ventilation, air conditioning and air heating equipment, namely to ventilation noise silencers. Ventilation silencer is made in the form of a housing, inside which there is a zigzag-shaped air-conducting inner channel, characterized by that the inner channel is made u-shaped and includes an inlet channel, a straight channel and an outlet channel, which are connected to each other, where the inlet channel is curved by 60–145° to the input and is made in the form of a confuser, the straight channel is located parallel to the input of the input channel, and the output channel is bent symmetrically to the input channel in the form of a diffuser.
EFFECT: increased noise-suppressing effect on the whole frequency spectrum with simultaneous reduction of specific weight and dimensions.
