FIELD: processing and recycling of wastes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of improving waste oil regeneration by-products, comprising the following steps: a) passing the oil to be regenerated through one or more centrifuges, b) storage of oil, before treatment, in suitable containers, c) desiloxanation and d) filtering, wherein the by-products of steps a) to d) are treated, collected, and also mixed with each other and added to the bitumen material coming out of the waste oil recovery unit, wherein by-products from step a) are subjected to a decantation step to reduce water content, and by-products coming from step b) and/or from step c) are mixed directly with each other and with any other possibly treated by-products.
EFFECT: present invention provides development of method for improvement of waste oil regeneration process by-products, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art and enables to obtain bitumen with improved physical and chemical characteristics and to avoid utilization of such by-products, which are actually special wastes, and related problems.
