FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery, and can be used for elimination of defects and diseases of ventricles. From the external and internal walls of the ventricle, pads are circularly sutured along the perimeter of the defect. A patch is attached to the lower part of the inner pad, thus creating a tight ventricular cavity. Circular stitching of the pads is carried out in the upper part from the outer and inner sides through the ventricular wall, then the ventricular walls are stitched through the outer and inner pads.

EFFECT: method provides ventricular tightness, prevention of suture cutting and preservation of sufficient volume of ventricular cavity during operations under conditions of artificial circulation, allows reducing risks of surgery, reducing probability of coronary artery damage, avoiding small cardiac output syndrome due to reduced load on external layer and its reinforcement by means of patch suturing.
