CREATION OF A NEOAPEX AT PLASTY OF A LEFT VENTRICLE OF HEART Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2715443 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery. Endovenous synthetic patch is implanted in the patients with left ventricular postinfarction aneurysms. Oval synthetic patch equal to the diameter of the aneurysm in its widest part is implanted with two continuous blanket sutures. First suture is started in a basal part of an interventricular septum (IVS), and then along a partition wall to an apex of a left ventricle and further towards a back and lateral walls of LV. Second continuous blanket suture starts from the previous seam at a distance equal to half the radius of the patch. Second seam direction corresponds to the first one. Then one U-suture is applied in the center of the patch, which is brought out through the modified cicatrical endocardium on the external surface of the left ventricle (LV) and is fastened before suturing the ventriculotomy hole on the tread gasket.

EFFECT: method enables avoiding inadequate reduction of the left ventricular cavity and restoring the left ventricular carcass by forming neoapex.
