FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the treatment of infectious diseases, particularly to ophthalmology, and can be used in treating resistant bacterial keratitis. Drug for treating resistant bacterial keratitis in the form of eye drops contains quantum dots selected from CdTe/Cd and InP/ZnSe/ZnS, and an anti-infectious agent selected from levofloxacin and tobramycin; wherein the agent is prepared by adding 1 ml of 2.5% colloidal solution of quantum dots CdTe/Cd or InP/ZnSe/ZnS to 4 ml of 0.5% solution of levofloxacin or 0.3% solution of tobramycin. Method of treating resistant bacterial keratitis involves using the above drug in the form of eye drops.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions makes it possible to expand the range of agents for fighting resistant bacterial keratitis, to completely cure resistant bacterial keratitis.
