FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for producing carbonate hardened articles, in particular, from secondary products of metallurgy (various slags and sludges) and carbon dioxide. Disclosed is a carbonate hardening chamber of building materials with a membrane false ceiling, comprising a housing which is a welded structure of steel sheets and profiles, at the base of which there is a frame, from the front side the housing is equipped with a door equipped with an opening and closing system, from the outside the housing is equipped with nozzles connected to the working gas – CO2 supply and discharge pipelines, and a false ceiling located below the gas supply channels along the entire area of the chamber to form a gas accumulation space. At the same time pipeline for supply of working gas is located above false ceiling, above which gas accumulation space is arranged. At that, the false ceiling is a porous structure providing filling of the working zone of the chamber with gas under action of gravity.

EFFECT: simplified design of carbonate hardening chamber with uniform distribution of supplied gas without forced circulation in the chamber.
