In the area of maximum stenosis of the artery, a high-energy solid-state pulsed ultraviolet laser is exposed at wave length 213 nm, generation frequency from 100 Hz to 50 Hz, pulse duration 5–8 ns, pulse energy 5 mJ.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of removing the atherosclerotic plaque by eliminating the formation of a demarcation inflammation zone, reducing the formation of turbulent currents and embolism-prone areas, eliminating the traumatisation of the vascular walls.
