FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedics, surgery and plastic surgery, and can be used for formation of interdigital space by means of skin flap on nutritive pedicle in form of chevron in treatment of basal syndactyly of hands in children. A quadrangular pedicle flap is formed from the interdigital fold; the angle of this flap located on the back surface of the hand is dissected in the longitudinal direction by 1/3 of the length. Below the formed flap, the fingers are separated by longitudinal incisions, which end in the proximal direction with V-shaped incisions. On the palmar surface of the hand, the apex of the V-shaped incision is directed towards the proximal side, on the back of the hand, the apex of the V-shaped incision is directed towards the distal side. After the fingers are separated, the pedicle flap is lowered to the base of the fingers; the triangular flap formed by the V-shaped incision on the back surface of the hand is inserted into the longitudinal incision of the quadrangular flap, as a result of which the quadrangular flap takes the shape of a chevron.
EFFECT: method provides increased volume of separated fingers and reduced probability of disease recurrence with maximum good cosmetic effect due to formation of flap in the form of chevron.
