FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: method of impeller fabrication consists in that an impeller magnetic conductor is made laminated using electric steel with a short-circuited aluminium winding. The laminated magnetic conductor of the impeller is made by coiling of a tape from electric steel on a ring which is made from aluminium alloy, and slots for the short-circuited winding in the tape are cut by means of punch and die during tape coiling. Then the magnetic conductor with slots for the short-circuited winding is placed into a casting mould which is filled with melted aluminium alloy. The ring is melted and fused with the aluminium alloy filled into the casting mould, and the melted aluminium alloy fills all irregularities of the magnetic conductor, providing firm connection of the engine rotor and the pump impeller.

EFFECT: ensuring high precision of fabrication of impellers of axial centrifugal engine-driven pumps, high reliability of joining of a rotor and an impeller.
