SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building and can be used in designs of pressure cylinders as accumulators of gas media for breathing apparatus and other units of automotive, aviation, space and any other devices using compressed gas tanks. Liner 1 consists of convex bottoms and, if necessary, a cylindrical part, made in the form of a solid shell of a given profile from thermoplastic material 8, throughout the mass of which unidirectional high-modulus reinforcing material 7 based on elementary artificial fibres 9 is distributed. Fibres are grouped into separate strands, each of which and each fibre constituting it are in the enclosing mass of thermosetting binder 10 and are oriented in the annular direction, including on the convex bottoms. At the same time there is one cross-section in the zone of maximum diameter, in which all strands have a break.

EFFECT: maintaining high levels of reliability, manufacturability and operational properties, reducing weight, labour intensity of production and cost.
