FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method is intended for manufacturing high pressure cylinder from polymer composite materials, and cylinder is intended for storage and transportation of compressed and liquefied gases. Method is implemented in the following way: pressure cover 3 is wound on sealing liner 2. Liner 3 is detachable and made from shell 4 containing sealing layer 5 and composite cover 6 from annular reinforcing fibres 7, and bottoms 8 with nozzles 9, which are equipped with sealing gasket 10 from elastic resilient material. At that, shell 4 is pressed between bottoms 8 owing to heat treatment of heat-shrinking fibres 11 located in a longitudinal direction, which are wound on bottoms 8 and shell 4. Cylinder 1 includes sealing liner 2 and pressure cover 3. Liner 2 is detachable and made from shell 4 containing sealing layer 5 and composite cover 6 from annular reinforcing fibres 7, and bottoms 8 with nozzles 9, which are equipped with sealing gasket 10 from elastic resilient material. Pressure cover 3 is wound in longitudinal fibres 41 containing heat-shrinking fibres, or in spiral wounds 17.
