FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in underwater wet mechanized and automatic welding and surfacing of metal structures from low-alloy steels of increased and high strength in any spatial positions. Low-alloy self-shielded flux-cored wire for underwater wet welding of high-strength steels consists of a steel shell and a mixture at the following content of components of the total weight of the wire, wt.%: rare-earth metal fluoride 6.2-9.8, alkali-earth metal fluoride 5-7.8, complex alkali metal fluoride 1.7-2.5, nickel powder 1.4-1.9, iron powder 7-10, ferrochrome powder 0.14-0.56, ferromanganese powder 1.4-2.2, ferrosilicon powder 0.56-1.1, ferrotitanium powder 0.28-0.84, steel shell – the rest.
EFFECT: higher strength and impact strength of weld in underwater wet welding of high-strength steels.
