FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-precision geodetic measurements, to automated systems for remote determination of spatial position of controlled object in real time in extreme climatic conditions. Digital video tiltmeter comprises optically, electrically and program-logically interconnected measuring module, which includes an optical-electronic measuring unit based on a liquid horizon sensor, which receives a reference module and a module for obtaining data of measurement results of inclination angles of the controlled object based on computer processing of a video signal containing video frames, made in the form of a recording user station based on a PC with common and application software with the possibility of automatic collection, storage, processing and conversion of the obtained digital data of geodetic measurements by means of computer vision software algorithms into high-precision values of inclination angles of the controlled object relative to the horizon.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements and broader functional capabilities for measurement, reception and processing of obtained measurement results.
