FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: puncturing of the extremity artery is performed under instrumental control. A catheter is introduced on a guide into its vascular bed and further into the left ventricle. Guiding the catheter into the left ventricle is realised on the guide on the punctured peripheral artery, aorta, through the aortal valve. After that, the catheter is bent into a loop by means of the guide in the left ventricle on its perimeter. The end of the catheter is brought to the mitral valve prosthesis in such a way that it is located on its perimeter. Then, it is moved through the paraprosthetic fistula into the left atrium and further into the nearest pulmonary vein by means of the guide. After that, the catheter is moved on the guide into the left atrium and the loop of the catheter in the left ventricle is straightened, the guide is replaced with a rigid one with a preliminarily formed bend of its distal part, corresponding to the bend of the arch of the operated patient's aorta. Then, an occlude-delivering system is brought on it into the left atrium after removal of catheter. The distal disk of the occluder is extended in the left atrium, remaining there after its final installation, with the proximal part being placed in the left ventricle.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce a risk of surgery for the patient and simplify the method.
