FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium for producing L-glutamic acid, in which the protein VKOR (protein of the vitamin K-epoxide reductase family) is inactivated, where inactivation of the VKOR protein means reduced activity or no activity compared to endogenous activity. Also disclosed is a method of producing L-glutamic acid using said microorganism.
EFFECT: invention provides production of L-glutamic acid with high output.
