FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to pharmacology, otorhinolaryngology, pulmonology and resuscitation. Organ complex of the lungs with the trachea, isolated immediately after the euthanasia of the experimental animal, is placed horizontally in a medical tray at a selected temperature in range from 0 to +42 °C in natural lighting conditions. Direct visual observation of airway patency is provided. Then the lumen inside the canal in the upper section of the airways is eliminated by closing their walls. Air is squeezed out of lungs till collapsed lungs. Thereafter, a surgical clamp is applied on the trachea across its longitudinal axis at the edges of its open opening until the trachea is compressed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to create a model for accurate introduction of the investigated drug into the selected part of the respiratory organ and to observe by eye the change in the dynamics of pulmonary aeration with local application of the investigated pharmacological agents under conditions of the selected temperature in real time, to assess the effect of pharmacological agents on pulmonary aeration.
