FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for relaxation of residual stresses and stabilization of geometric parameters of annular parts from ferromagnetic material. Set of parts is processed with provision of their elastic deformation in radial direction by the tool at its relative movement along the part axis. Tool used is an inductor reciprocating in cycles. Guaranteed gap is set between the inductor and the surface of the hole of the parts. In one cycle the inductor is inserted into the hole of the set of parts. Elastic deformation of parts is provided. Then the inductor is removed from the hole of the set of parts. During the cycle, one of the parts of the set is replaced. Cycles are repeated to ensure complete processing of all parts of the set.
EFFECT: improving the quality of parts by using a non-contact method of processing them.
