SUBSTANCE: in the configuration method, a terminal sends a message to a network device with discontinuous reception (DRX) information of a forward link. DRX information of the forward link is DRX information of the forward link for a given address of the forward link and/or DRX information of the forward link for a given transmission means. Assigned address of the forward link satisfies at least one of the following conditions: the terminal receives information transmitted by the assigned address of the forward link; or the terminal receives information transmitted by the designated forward link address, and the information is received using a forward link DRX mechanism. DRX information of the forward link comprises at least one of the following: first indication information for indicating whether the assigned forward link address uses a forward link DRX mechanism; or information on characteristics of quality of service (QoS) of a transmission service for an assigned address of a forward link.
EFFECT: high reliability of transmission, reduced power consumption of the terminal.
